Our story starts where others finish….
With unwanted manufacturing materials that others discard. We take those materials and put them
through an ingenious, low impact process to give them new life. The result is a new kind of
material, combining recycled glass and porcelain, to create tiles and solid surfaces with
unique character and low environmental impact.
Never Less Than 98% Recycled
Designed with the environment in mind, all of the base raw materials in our range of Silicastone™ products are completely recycled. Only the glaze and colours are not.
Our patented manufacturing process takes unwanted materials and gives them a new life as stunning products which offer exciting possibilities for interior and exterior design projects.
Terrazzo Solid Surface
Perfect for use on walls, work surfaces, table tops or furniture. Being handmade, our slabs are unique and each one varies slightly in texture and colour effect.
Our colours are introduced in a variety of ways, either by adding ceramic pigments or by using specially sources recycled aggregates.
This means our Terrazzo solid surfaces will always keep their colour for decades to come.
Shades Solid Surfaces
All our base raw materials are recycled. Only the glaze and colours are not.
Some of the materials are by-products of industrial manufacturing and reusing them within existing process represents too high a risk of contamination.
In many cases the materials are sludges or very fine particles which are difficult to reuse by our suppliers.
